Adding a second storey to their existing home proved a family friendly alternative to buying a bigger home in an overheated property market. Front wall and one side wall were the only original walls remaining of the house everything else was demolished to create a new 2 level family Modern Contemporary home.
The new plan would see this space transformed into open plan living, dining, kitchen. The top floor would house three new bedrooms, all spacious, a bathroom and ensuite. It was a big job, but significantly cheaper than relocating.
