Wall Inspiration

Often colour is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of walls. Modern ideas are changing the way we do things and wall treatments are no exception when renovating. Revolutionising your home is looking outside the conventional wall painting and looking at all different methods like texture, wallpaper, wall panelling and cladding.

These features are often cost effective and offer enhanced aesthetics, it conceals uneven wall surfaces, and often easier to clean and maintain rather than just paint.

Textures are a great way to personalise your space, simply because there is a very wide variety of textures available. You can choose what reflects your living space’s character best.

Wallpaper has made a huge comeback as a quick, affordable, trendy decor option creating a statement wall or making a room pop. Wallpaper designs of today are not the floral look they use to be. They now come in beautiful bright colours, bold patterns, and funky designs which are on-trend and a fun way to make a piece of furniture pop, brighten up a wall, or cover an entire space. While wallpaper is by no means a new design option, the unique, fun patterns and textures being offered today are appealing.

Wall Panelling not only can conceal possible flaws on walls, but also gives a fresh feel and stylish look to the room. Decorative panels of various shades, texture, finishing’s, including timber panelling can be utilised to glamorise the ambience of the room, there are many materials to use when wall panelling.

Few materials inspire creativity like tiles. Available in a range of sizes, shapes, colours and materials, tiles provide durable surfaces and finishes to both interior and exterior spaces. all tiles specifically differ from floor tiles in that they are usually not intended to be load bearing. The glazes used in the manufacturing of a wall tile are also different and are not designed to resist wear from foot traffic.

Using variety of shades, textures, materials, shapes and sizes on your walls has endless possibilities for your home renovation. It’s a great way to add statement to your room and spruce up your living space.
